SPOTTED: 2014 Jaguar F-type V8 S
In case you hadn’t already guessed, we had a great time test driving the new 2014 Jaguar F-Type. For those of you who haven’t yet heard about this sexy, little roadster from Jaguar, you’d better get caught up.
The F-Type comes in three flavors. The standard F-Type with 340hp (starting at $69K), the F-Type S (starting at $81K), which comes with a big boost in horsepower (380hp), and the F-Type V8 S, which has 495hp and a top speed of 186 miles per hour.
In true roadster fashion, all of the F-Type models come with a convertible soft top, which can be retracted at up to 30 miles per hour. And, since your likely to catch a lot of wind noise, the good folks at Jaguar also offer the F-Type with either a 10 or 12 speaker audio system from Meridian.
Want more info? The mini-review of the F-Type’s coolest features over on SimplyRides.com is a good start. If that’s not enough, take a peek at the photo gallery on BumperCandy.com. In the interim, here are a few pics to whet your whistle.
Location: Sheep Station. An outdoor art installation in Manhattan. Created by the late French sculptor Francois Xavier Lalanne, the exhibit occupies a Getty gas station currently owned by Michael Shvo, a real estate developer and art collector who will eventually build a skyscraper on the land. But not before he allows more artists to exhibit there.
